Treatment Cost

1. The cost of each session is £90. 
2. • Occasionally, someone who really needs help genuinely cannot afford the normal fee. For example an unemployed single mum. In such cases, I may be able to sort something out, so please call me, anyway.
3. There is a £30 non-returnable deposit of £30.

   • I get charged by the bank for each transaction, with an extra penalty for refunds.
   • To some, the cost of hypnotherapy may seem like a lot, however a course of treatment will probably cost a lot less than the cost of, say, replacing the clutch in your car. It depends on the importance you attach to your happiness and well-being.
   • If you're a smoker, you can make up this money in only a few weeks, leaving aside the fact that it may save your life!
   • I don't ask for block payments covering multiple sessions. (I can't know for sure how many sessions will be required.) You therefore only pay for each session you book.
5. Sessions usually last about two hours.
6. • It takes time to chat to clients and then induce a suitable level of hypnosis. This would severely limit the time available in a one-hour session. You get much more done in a longer session, so it works out cheaper.
   • Having two-hour sessions means that a course of treatment takes about five sessions, whereas a client may need twelve to fifteen one-hour sessions.
   • The number of sessions varies according to the individual. However, you should expect to need around 4 or 5 sessions.
7. I have payment card facilities. I can take therefore credit or debit payments over the phone.
8. I will ask for payment each time you book a session.

Booking a Session

The First Appointment

The first appointment begins with the Initial Consultation (IC). You need to allow 3 hours for the first appointment.

• We discuss your problem and possible treatment
• If we both agree that hypnosis is the right course, we proceed to the first session.
• The IC may take up to around 2 hours, depending upon the individual.
• If you do not want to go ahead on that day, you forfeit the deposit.
• • (So it's better to plan to have your session that first day.

Deposits

(Cancellations & Postponements)

1. Standard Sessions: Deposit £30: There are no refunds.
2. • Each on-line transaction is charged for, PLUS card companies add a penalty for refunds, so there's virtually nothing left to refund.
   • NB Clients with a history of non-attendance must leave a £30 deposit.
3. Special Offer or Reduced Sessions: Deposit £30:
   I offer to reduce the cost, only if you COMMIT to attending by paying the bigger deposit.
4. • You may postpone (once only) within 3 calendar days of making the appointment.
   • You may cancel only within 3 calendar days of making the appointment. Your deposit will be returned less the refund fee of £10.
   • Otherwise:-
   • If you cancel less than 5 working days before the appointment then you lose the deposit.
   • If you postpone less THAN 5 working days before the appointment then you lose the deposit.
     
     
   • Other Situations:-
   • If the Session was FREE for any reason then if you postpone or cancel more than 3 calendar days after making the appointment, or within 3 working days of the appointment, then you forfeit the session and must pay a £30 deposit to re-book.
   • If the Session was reduced, for any reason, then if you postpone or cancel more than 3 calendar days after making the appointment, or within 3 working days of the appointment, then you lose your deposit and must pay a £30 deposit to re-book.
5. Addictions: Deposit £30: I have to ask for a deposit of £30 for each session - alcohol, drugs, smoking.
6. • Unfortunately, my experience is that around half the people who make appointments to stop smoking don't show up for their appointment.
   • I'm sorry about this because many clients DO come and it may appear that I don't trust people.
   • When I see a client for the first time, I really have to keep a whole morning or afternoon free for that first session.
